Round 12

1st QUARTER – the “Bounce Down” with Professor Moriarty aka Alsy in the chair

A win against the Dogs and some mid-season reflections. The Matt Price Purple Heart votes go to Hill, Hill, Hill, Hill.

2nd QUARTER – the “CRACK” with Damian Drum – former club coach,  currently the Victorian Minister for Sport

Damian is an esteemed former club coach. Although – once a Cat always a Cat – he still loves the purple team.  Hear his astute reckoning and praise of the Pav as the Dockers’ “double” bacon-burger special and re-count the joys of smashing the eagles in the best demolition derby ever. Damian was the helmsman at a formative juncture in the club’s history and his priority investment in youth and leadership has been re-paid in spades.  Now Minister for Sport in the BIG VICTORIA he has a slightly different slant on team play and the benefits of good coaching and leadership.

3rd QUARTER – “The Fan Belt” with Ms Kylie Farmer

Talented actress, songstress and indigenous leader, Kylie Farmer joins us for a most incisive and entertaining chat about the strength and artistry of WA’s indigenous players – and she knows a fair few of them! This interview adds another dimension to the feeling that you get when you look to the west.

4th QUARTER – “The Cross-Town Smear”

Hear it here first, the media get a Bronx cheer from the PURPLE CIRCUS for their failure to recognise tall talent.

THE FINAL SIREN – the Dockers v the Crows – the PURPLE CIRCUS PREDICTS a win

We all expect a good game with the Dockers in front at the FINAL SIREN by a points margin of 32-30-7-14 average being 20. Hear some free ranging talk as we ponder Alsy’s trip to back to his roots aka Scotland-Ireland-Wales-England – and – in his absence, who will adopt his free-mantle – we have called for volunteers – be quick.
