Aidan is the team leader. He’s a lawyer who works on regulatory approvals for development projects and related policy matters. He graduated in 1985 from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Science (biology specialising in plant mineral nutrition, including mine site rehabilitation) and subsequently worked in range land management and environmental impact assessment in northern Australia (WA and NT).
In 1997 he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University. Prior to establishing Matrix Approvals as a specialised regulatory approvals consultancy, he worked with Karara Mining, Gindalbie Metals, Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Freehills, Murdoch University and the WA and NT Governments.
His other interests include the history of development projects (including early linear development projects such as stock routes, highways, railway lines, water pipe lines and power lines etc.) plus some social forays with the Fremantle Ukulele Collective and the Purple Circus Pod Cast (a weekly show on the Dockers).
